About This Model

This 3D model shows the complete StarShade structure in its deployed configuration. The design features:

  • Octagonal scissor mechanism for rapid deployment
  • 15 solar panel mounting positions (39.2" × 65" each)
  • Central IBC tank for battery storage and ballast
  • Dimensional lumber construction with minimal hardware
  • Expandable modular design
